distribute harps from only the best harp luthiers in Paraguay. The difference in
quality of materials, workmanship, and sound, are very noticeable when compared
to lower quality instruments.

dimensions. It is possible to combine carvings and colors of different models at

We are the exclusive internet
distributor for the Americas and Europe of the El Rey harps. Oscar Maldonado
Ovelar is considered by most professional Paraguayan harpists as the best harp
builder in Paraguay by far.
Many of the renown professional Paraguayan harpists,
like Luis Bordon, Rito Pedersen, Kike Pedersen, Marcelo Rojas, Martín
Portillo, Marcelo Ojeda, Papi Basaldua, Clelia Carolina Sanabria,
Nicolas Caballero, to name a few,
perform and record with his harps. His exclusive carving designs (as on
the harp APYH-14A) are copied and offered through the internet as the real
thing, and although the external appearance may be similar, there is no way to
beat high quality materials, and Maldonado's expert
workmanship. The results are instruments of superb tone, and solid construction.
Wood: All models hand made from solid Paraguayan Red Cedar (Spanish
Cedar) for the soundbox and neck, and AAA grade solid Canadian Engelmann Spruce
for the soundboard.
Strings:
36, 37 or 38.
Color Code:
FA (F) red, DO (C) blue; or DO (C) red, FA (F) blue. Other color codings
available.
Tuning Machines:
Made in Brazil.

These harps are made with highest quality
materials. The tone and volume are excellent, construction is
precise and solid, and the glossy finish is the best of all the
makers we carry. There is no way to beat these harps in appearance.

solid Paraguayan Red Cedar and solid AAA grade Canadian Engelmann

Custom soft-cases can be made for Paraguayan, Celtic, or Pedal harps
of any brand. Buyer should provide dimensions of the harp.
Soft-cases are made with heavy duty materials as used in traveling
bags, with a soft black cloth on the inside, and are fully padded.
They have a large zippered pocket for carrying scores or extra
strings, and except for the Pedal Harp soft-case, they all have
strong straps for carrying hanging from the shoulder.

questions.
3. Once all your questions have been answered and you have chosen an instrument
or product, please inform us of your intention to purchase.
4. We will inform you of the expected time for delivery.
5. You should then select a payment method.
