The Juno is the newest harp of the Salvi line. It was developed to be very versatile for both beginners and professionals alike. It is strung with Silk Gut (R) strings which were developed to allow a full rich tone on a small harp. Juno comes with three leg options which allow for a variety of heights. Juno comes with a Transport Cover.
The Ana Harp distinguishes itself from the other more traditional Celtic harps both by the way it looks and the spacing between the strings which brings it closer to a pedal harp in sound. This harp is an excellent choice both for students who are thinking of progressing to the pedal harp and for harpists who wish to play a lever harp but achieve a sound similar to a small pedal harp.
Celtic music now has a new instrument: The Donegal. Light and easy to manoeuvre the Donegal has its roots in the traditional Celtic sound. The specially designed carbon fiber strings confer a vibrant and balanced sound throughout the harp, while the “high performance” levers and interchangeable legs make this the ideal instrument for lovers of Celtic music. Salvi harps has used the Celtic traditions as inspiration both for the aesthetics and sound of the Donegal.
The Livia harp with its dynamic yet classic lines represents the innovation and traditions of the Salvi craftsmen. The column is made from solid maple and the soundboard from the European red spruce. The extensive study that has gone into its dimensions make it appropriate for any harpist, while its full and brilliant sound give it its own character.
The newest member of the "Start and Play" series is here. The Hermes is a 40 string lever harp available with the new synthetic gut "silkgut" strings or gut strings. The harp is finished with an environmentally friendly water based finish and has a large beautiful voice. It is finished off with the start and play levers and sleek elegant lines.
A clear turning point in lever harp manufacturing, the new Egan opens the way to a real celtic sound; the greater length of its strings makes it a breakthrough harp. The column design allows the highest clarity of tone, while he innovative concept of the neck/column linkage offers unmatched structural firmness.
Respecting the acoustic sound of the harp, Salvi technicians have created the Electroacoustic Egan. A harp created to give power to sound, whilst preserving the acoustic natural character of the instrument. The new Egan Electroacoustic is the result of research and experimentation at the Salvi laboratories in Piasco and offers to the harpist a pure and acoustic amplified sound. The 38 directional pick-ups collect the vibration of each string conveying all the range of frequencies to the active pre-amplifying circuit. In this way the upper and lower tones are sent unaltered to a pair of monophonic jack outputs. A warm and rich bass end, a harmonious mid-range and clear trebles make the Electroacoustic Egan the perfect harp for the musician who wants a natural amplified sound.
